Saint George Valsamitis Hotel in Xilokeratidi, Amorgos

Established in 1991, Saint George Valsamitis Hotel is located in the Xilokeraditi settlement, only a few steps from the beach. It got its name from the monastery of Saint George Valsamitis, situated on the island, to pay respects to the spiritual tradition of Amorgos. It showcases the traditional Cycladic architecture and style, combining the white and blue of the building with the vibrant pink of the bougainvilleas. It constitutes a fairly affordable option while still providing guests with all the necessary modern amenities.

Accommodation
The resort comprises rooms and suites that can host one to five guests, most of which have balconies that overlook the sea, mountains and garden. They are decorated in vibrant colors, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. The ensuite bathrooms are equipped with a shower, towels, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. The rooms are also fitted with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and a refrigerator. All guests are welcomed with a bottle of traditional psimeni raki from Amorgos.
