General information

Triopetra Beach lies at the foothills of Mount Siderotas. It consists of two shores, divided by a small cape. Its name means "three rocks", and derives from the three impressive rocks standing at the edge of the cape.

The first beach, called Koumado, is covered in sand and rocks and is organized with a few umbrellas. In the area, you will also find some nice taverns and comfortable rooms to stay. There is also a small harbor called Stomio.

The second beach, named Chatzi, is covered in coarse sand and boasts beautiful, deep blue waters. Just like the first one, this shore also offers some umbrellas, as well as rooms where you can reside and a few taverns where you can enjoy delightful specialties. Nearby, you will also see a charming small river with fresh water flowing all year round.

Access to Triopetra is only possible by car, as the area is not connected to the rest of Crete by bus.
