Rethymno Petres beach

General information

Petres Beach is located 12 km west of Rethymno Town. This small, rocky beach was named after the Petres Gorge, which lies nearby and is often quiet, as it is not really popular among tourists.

Petres is only partially organized on the northern side, with a few umbrellas and sunbeds. It boasts dark blue, crystalline waters, and its rocky seabed is perfect for snorkeling. The coast is covered in golden sand and is surrounded by beautiful rocks and greenery.
