Rethymno Enetiko beach

General information

The Enetiko (Venetian) Port is located in the northeastern part of Rethymno Town, next to its modern port. The historical lighthouse designates the end of the port and marks the starting point of a long, sandy beach.

The shore continues for many kilometers to the east, where most locals and tourists enjoy swimming and the various accommodations offered. Across the seaside, you will find plenty of traditional taverns where you can taste local specialties and enjoy the lovely view.
This beach is an excellent choice if you are in Rethymno Town for a short visit.
