Lassithi Myrtos beach

General information

Myrtos is located 15 km west of Ierapetra and 51 km southwest of Agios Nikolaos. Strewn with coarse sand and fine pebbles, it is a fine beach with crystalline azure waters that are usually unaffected by the strong northern winds.

It is well-organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, showers and a lifeguard, while visitors will find water sports and beach volleyball facilities too. Various accommodations and taverns are available in the little Myrtos village, which is nestled at the edge of a fertile valley traversed by the Krios River.
