Lassithi Milatos beach

General information

The seaside village of Milatos is situated 34 km northwest of Agios Nikolaos and just 16 km east of Hersonissos. About 1 km to the north of the village you will find the settlement known as Beach of Milatos which houses several beaches along its coast.

The main beach of Milatos is located just before the harbor. It is relatively big and boasts a pebbly shore, with some bigger rocks scattered throughout as well. The water is clear and sports a rich blue color. However, it can get pretty choppy, depending on the weather conditions, so be mindful if you are planning to go for a swim.

The beach itself is not organized. You will not find any modern amenities such as sunbeds or parasols. Visitors should therefore make sure to come well-prepared. It is, however, in proximity to many restaurants and traditional cafes in case you want to grab a bite or savor a drink after visiting the beach.
