Lassithi Agios Andreas beach

General information

Stretching about 4 kilometers east of the Agia Fotini church, Agios Andreas is the longest beach of Ierapetra. It is a beautiful beach, with crystalline azure waters and a combination of coarse sand and pebbles, though, because of the large stones that cover the sea bottom at places, it may not always be suitable for families with children.

Close to the town of Ierapetra, the beach is well-organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, and showers, while, the further one moves to the east, the less conveniences they will encounter.
