Vathi Beach is a lovely, secluded shore, located 79 km southwest of Heraklion Town. It lies at the end of a small canyon, and the large rocks surrounding it make it look like a lagoon.

The charming beach is covered in sand and boasts beautiful, crystal-clear waters in shades of blue and turquoise. The seabed is sandy and rocky at some points, making it ideal for snorkeling and exploring. Besides a few tamarisks, you will not find anything else on the coast, as the beach is not organized with umbrellas or sunbeds.
