General information

Tertsa is a settlement on the southern coast of Crete, located 91 km southeast of Heraklion Town and 54 km southwest of Agios Nikolaos. It is built on a verdant valley on the seaside, across a beautiful long shore, where two charming small beaches lie.

Tertsa Beach is not organized with umbrellas or sunbeds, but the tamarisks adorning it offer natural shade. The shore is covered in gray coarse sand and boasts dazzling, crystal-clear, azure waters. Around it, you will not find much, only a few traditional taverns and some accommodations. A few meters to the north, you can see the lovely Saint George church, and on the western side, there is an impressive, massive rock. Behind the rock lies the second beach on the coastline, called Psarocharako, a charming, secluded shore.

The wider area is not very developed and has preserved its authenticity, making it the perfect resort for quiet, isolated vacations.
