Heraklion Psili Ammos beach

General information

Psili Ammos is a beautiful, secluded shore located about 70 km southwest of Heraklion Town. The coast is covered in fine gray sand and is surrounded by a lovely mountainous landscape. The waters are blue and calm, and the area does not receive many visitors, making it an ideal alternative if you want to avoid the commotion and crowds of popular resorts.

You will only find a few umbrellas and one small canteen serving refreshing beverages and snacks on the coast. In addition, on the eastern side of the beach, you will see some impressive large white rocks called Asprocharaki.
