General information

Psarocharako Beach is a small, unorganized beach famous for its islet, which resembles a submarine. It’s located close to Tertsa, on the eastern side of Crete. Due to its charming appearance, it’s a spot preferred by photography lovers who enjoy taking photos of the landscape.

The coast is covered in soft sand, and there are no umbrellas or sunbeds available. Right behind it lies Chlia Beach, a pebbly shore with calm, deep blue waters. It’s ideal for snorkeling and is also nudist-friendly.

Access to the spot might seem quite challenging since there is no asphalt road to drive, but it’s actually not that hard. In fact, it’s only a 6-minute walk on a small dirt road from Tertsa Beach.
