Heraklion Arvi beach

General information

Arvi Beach is located 78 km southeast of Heraklion Town. The shore lies next to the harbor of the village of the same name. It’s a lovely, long coast with pebbles, coarse sand, and crystal-clear, shallow waters. Plenty of vacationers stop by the beach to have a refreshing swim and enjoy the warmth of the Cretan sun every summer.

The shore is organized, and equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, and showers, along with a canteen, to accommodate as many visitors as possible. In addition, the local yacht club has built volleyball courts on the sand, where tournaments take place. The area is generally very developed and tourist-friendly, as it provides taverns, restaurants, and shops. However, the accommodation choices are rather limited.
