Wine and olive oil tasting tour with snacks

General Description

We will pick you up from your hotel (or other chosen pickup spot) with our air-conditioned bus and leave the main area of Chania to start our tour, heading towards the mountains of Kissamos! There, we will stop at a family-owned winery and learn valuable information about their wine, products, and modern approach to wine-making. We will also try some premium wines, including Vidiano - Muscat of Spina, an aromatic and well-balanced white wine, along with various other international wines.

Then, we will continue our trip to a nearby traditional village to explore the area and see what is rumored to be the oldest olive tree on the globe, with an estimated age of three millenniums!

Our next winery visit will allow us to taste white wines made from Assyrtiko, Vidiano, and Vilana grapes! We can also stroll by the vineyards before going to a local olive oil factory and learning about olive oil’s production stages. After testing some pristine olive oil and some tsikoudia, we will embark on our return trip.
