Dance Days Chania

For the 6th consecutive year, Chania opens its doors to Dance Days International Festival which will be realised from the 20th until the 28th of July. One of the most fun International Dance Festivals on insular Greece will be held in the amazing city of Chania, will be entertaining its audiences for another year like it has been doing since 2011 when it was introduced for the first time. The festival focuses on contemporary dancing and invites everyone to get immersed into the world of dancing and live performing. With artists from Europe and all over the world, the aim of the festival is to enhance its international character in the first place and promote a rich connection with the local culture in the second place.
The vibrant city of Chania is an ideal location to host a colorful and active event like this in the summer. Thousands of visitors rush to Crete every year from all over the world to enjoy the beaches, the nice weather and the amazing food along with the typical Cretan hospitality. Up to date, the festival has hosted more than 53 live performances, 24 dance seminars and many other dance workshops, lectures and video dance projects. More than 5000 attendees have been present to the performances and the festival keeps getting more and more popular every year. The production of the festival is mainly based on volunteers and sponsors, so participation is assigned great importance for its continuation.
