Chania Events (32)

The Chania International Photo Festival brings together more than 400 photographers from all over the world. This year, it is to be held between the 22nd and the 26th of July 2024 in the Arsenali Center of Mediterranean Architecture, comprising 16 different categories that touch on a range of issues that concern contemporary society.

The Crete Marathon counts thousands of participants for its 2.5km, 5km, 10km, and Marathon races in the center of Chania Town every year. In 2024, it will take place in mid-April.

The Chania Beer Festival, a day full of beer drinking, loud music, and sausage hors d’oeuvres, will bring the Munich festivities to the center of Chania on the last day of September.

Rokka Festival will host the August Full Moon Concert, presenting a revered group of musicians that will perform the all-time classic Carmina Burana underneath the second full moon of August 2023.
