Yacht day trip to Agistri, Moni, and Aegina, from Athens
General Description
Join us on a trip with our motorsailer to some beautiful islands of the Saronic Gulf, namely Agistri, Aegina and a nearby small islet, either Metopi or Moni!
This is a full-day tour, given that it has a 10-hour duration, split in half for sailing and island exploration. Our starting point will be the harbor of Marina Zeas in Piraeus, where we will hop onboard at around 08:45 to be ready for our departure at 09:00!
The first stop of our boat excursion will be the mesmerizing island of Agistri, a gem of the Saronic, known for its relatively small size, vivid blue waters, and large pine trees! There, you can join an optional bike tour that connects the village of Megalochori and the remote Chalikiada Beach, or simply explore the island at your own pace!
After Agistri, we will sail towards either the uninhabited islet of Moni or the islet of Metopi (depending on the weather conditions), where we will drop anchor and enjoy a traditional lunch with wine, cold beer, beverages, and coffee. After the meal, you can jump in the refreshing sea waters for snorkeling or swim to the islet’s shore!
At around 15:00, our journey will continue to the historic Aegina, an island known for its pistachios, ancient sites, such as the temples of Aphaia and Apollo, and white stone homes with spacious, verdant backyards! It is an excellent escape from everyday life, while still being a place with contemporary facilities!
We will start our return trip at around 16:30 and sail back to Marina Zeas, as we enjoy some fresh coffee, various drinks, and relaxing tunes.
