5 Days classical tour, from Athens
General Description
Day 1:
Our trip will begin from Athens. Around an hour after departing, we will reach the Corinth Canal for a photo stop before continuing our journey towards Epidaurus! We will visit this renowned site known for the magnificent Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, boasting impeccable acoustics! Our next destination is the famous town of Nafplion, where you will have the afternoon all for yourself.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2:
The morning hours of the second day will be yours to roam around Nafplion after breakfast. In the early afternoon, we will leave the town and reach Mycenae to pay a visit to its Archaeological Site and the Treasury of Atreus. There, you will have the opportunity to admire the remnants of the ancient Mycenaean civilization! We will then begin our trip toward Olympia, passing by several Central Peloponnese towns, including Tripolis and Megalopolis. We will reach Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3:
On the third day, after breakfast, we will guide you through the incredible Archaeological Site of Olympia, boasting sights such as the Temple of Zeus, the Archaeological Museum, and the Ancient Stadium of Olympia! Driving through the villages of Elia and Achaia, we will reach the cable-stayed Rion-Antirrion bridge just outside Patras. We will continue our journey, passing by Itea, and the town of Nafpaktos before arriving at the new village of Delphi.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4:
In the morning, you will enjoy breakfast before we will pay a visit to Delphi's Archaeological Site and its revered Museum! Then, it will be time to leave for Kalambaka, a stunning, picturesque town located at the foot of the Meteora rock complex! The afternoon will be yours to explore the gorgeous region.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5:
On our last day, after breakfast, we will visit two of the mesmerizing monasteries atop the rocks of Meteora, where you will be in awe of the fascinating Byzantine artworks! Afterward, we will begin our return toward Athens, passing by Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae (for our last short photo stop at the Statue of Leonidas) before arriving in the capital in the early evening hours.

• For the visit to Meteora Monasteries, ladies need to wear long skirts and gentlemen long trousers.
• Those who stay on the coast will depart for their hotels around 19.15.
