Athens Photo Festival 2011

The Athens Photo Festival 2011 is organized by the Hellenic Centre for Photography from November 2nd-15th. This year's program consists of various events that focus in quality and diversity. The festival will present various exhibitions, video projects, photography nights, educational programs, the event Athens Photo Inspiration 2011 and other parallel events. The main program includes more than 15 video projects of Greek and foreign artists.

A series of photography performances and other happenings will be presented in the inauguration. The central exhibition program In The City that peaks with the opening of the festival includes more than 30 exhibitions that visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy in several galleries, educational institutes and other exhibition centers in Athens. Before the official inauguration, a lecture by Jan-Erik Lundstrom on Emotion and Fact: Swedish photography today will be given at the Amphitheatre of Tecnopolis at 18:30.
