Varkiza Beach in Athens: The cosmopolitan Varkiza Beach is known for its coarse sand with plenty of pebbles scattered around the shore. It is an easy-to-access seashore, and its shallow seabed makes it an ideal destination for families with young kids!

The beach of Varkiza is divided into two parts: a fully-organized one and a completely non-organized one!
The well-organized part of Varkiza Beach (spotted on the right-hand side whilst facing the waters) hosts an abundance of sunbeds and straw-made sun umbrellas at a cost while also having an entrance fee. This part also has plenty of beach bars and snack spots, as well as some sports facilities and accommodation options.
On the left side of the beach, the non-organized part of Varkiza has enough space for your beach equipment, though it is always very crowded during the summer months.

Amazing

My husband went to this beach and found it very clean! He said the beach was amazing and gave you the same feeling as if you were on a Greek Island.

After visiting Vougliameni or Kokkino Limanaki this beach is not so clean. Dissapointed
