Temple of Athena Aphaia
Ancient SitesThe Doric temple of Athena Aphaia was built around 420 BC on the site of a former temple. It is situated atop a rock and was dedicated to the goddess Athena. The most fascinating thing is that the Temple of Aphaia, the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion and the Parthenon in Athens geographically form an isosceles triangle!
Temple of Apollo
