In brief, Paros airport is a national airport and receives daily flights from Athens. To get to Paros from other islands, the ferry is the only option.

The airport of Paros (PAS) is located in the southwest part of the island, 10 km from the main port of Paros in Parikia.
It was established in 1982, but in 2016 its premises were relocated to a nearby area. Works were done to turn it into an international airport with flights from abroad but it is still working only with flights from Athens.
It boasts one passenger terminal of 1.400 meters, while the area of the facilities for the public and the offices is around 600 square meters.

Flights

The airport only receives domestic flights from the International Airport of Athens. The two airlines that serve the route are Aegean Airlines-Olympic Air and Sky Express and the flight duration is about 40 minutes.

How to get to & leave the airport

Public buses

The airport is well-connected to different locations on the island via public bus routes (KTEL). Two routes have the airport as their terminal, one starting from Parikia (the capital town of Paros) and the other from Pounda. At the same time, buses departing from the airport head to Parikia. Usually, during summer, buses depart from the airport every 30 minutes.
Travelers can purchase their tickets directly at Parikia and Naoussa points of departure. In addition, though, several mini-markets and kiosks featuring the corresponding sign sell bus tickets, too. Those shops are located in Parikia, Naoussa, Lefkes, Marpissa, Alyki, Pounda, Piso Livadi, Prodromos, Marmara, Drios, Voutakos, and even on the island of Antiparos.
The main bus station is conveniently located in Parikia, just a few minutes from the port.
All buses boast and offer luggage space for no additional fee.

Tip: It is better to inform the driver in advance about your destination to be sure that he will stop there.

Transfers & Taxis

To reach any place on Paros island starting from the airport, you can take a taxi from the rank outside the exit gate. However, keep in mind that taxis are limited. To play it safe, it is highly recommended to book a transfer service in advance and get on your taxi, minibus, or private VIP car immediately. Airport Facilities

The airport of Paros is a small one, so its facilities are limited. In particular, it has a canteen, two car rental offices, and a parking space with a capacity of 70 cars.

Near the airport

If you feel like exploring the island as soon as you arrive in Paros or before your departure, consider swimming at the secluded Voutakos beach (4.9km) or visiting the Skorpios Folklore Museum (3.6 km).
