  Many stories to tell

  Far from civilization, this amazing lighthouse stands at the edge of a rock, facing the sea. It must be at least two centuries old, which makes me imagine all the stories that it must have seen: sea gulls coming and going, ships passing by, people looking at the sea, children playing around. This is a lovely spot of Mykonos and not very famous, so it is more likely that you will be alone or with few people as company. No bus goes to the lighthouse, you will have to rent a scooter/car to go. Also do not miss the dam of Marathi and the quiet beach of Panormos, only a few km from the lighthouse. What you need for a peaceful day in Mykonos.

  Watch the sunset

  Have you ever spent time looking at the beautiful sunset? Agios Stefanos is the ideal beach in Mykonos that is not only famous for its clean waters but the reconnection with nature is marvelous. The openness of the place, the tranquility and the exotic colors of the fireball that scatter and add captivating beauty is not to be missed. You must see at least one sunset there and you will remember it all your life. I found the beach to be very clean and well maintained. You may ensure that you spend quality time in Agios Stefanos. The rented umbrellas saved me from being roasted, as the sun gets unbearable after noon. I will advise you all to replenish your system with ample liquids and do not forget the sun block lotion in Greece!

  Long sandy beach with beautiful views

  Hi, I'm Australian at the age of 26. In the summer of 2006 I went to Mykonos Island in Greece. I was staying near Mykonos Town, and rode to Agios Stefanos beach within 5 minutes by a scooter as it is very close. The streets of Mykonos in my opinion were very good. I used a map to get there, and it was perfectly indicated. The reason I went to Agios Stefanos beach is because it was recommended by friends. The beach is long and sandy, cold waters and beautiful views. Also it was fully organized with sun beds and umbrella rentals, proximity to a village, and also a bit dirty. Close to the beach were mini markets, restaurants, cafes, hotels and accommodations. My favorite thing about the beach was that it was quite.
